CASES PRONOUNS



The Personal pronouns in the nominative case are:

Singular Personal Pronouns

I ich
you (familiar) du
you (formal) Sie
he, she, it er, sie, es

Plural Personal Pronouns

we wir
you (familiar) ihr
you (formal) Sie
they sie

Reflexive pronouns refer back to the subject of the sentence. You can use only accusative or dative case:

Accusative:  
   
myself mich
yourself (familiar) dich
yourself (formal) sich
himself, herself, itself sich
ourselves uns
yourselves (familiar) euch
yourselves (formal) sich
themselves sich

Dative:  
   
myself mir
yourself (familiar) dir
yourself (formal) sich
himself, herself, itself sich
ourselves uns
yourselves (familiar) euch
yourselves (formal) sich
themselves sich

Interrogative pronouns introduce questions.

  For persons For things
     
Nominative wer = who was = what
Accusative wen = whom was = what
Dative wem = whom was (or wo-compound) = what
Genitive wessen = whose was (or wo-compound) = what
